1. Introduction

By booking any service with Berkshire Clearance Services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms ensure transparency and compliance with UK waste regulations


2. Waste Types & Restrictions

We collect most household, commercial, and construction waste.
We do not accept hazardous materials (e.g. asbestos, chemicals) unless agreed in advance.
Items such as fridges, TVs, paint, plasterboard, tyres, and mattresses carry 
additional charges.


3. Access Requirements

You must provide clear, safe access to the collection point.
Blocked access, locked gates, or unsafe conditions may lead to cancellation or a missed collection fee.


4. Loading & Labour

Waste should be prepared and ready for loading.
If our team needs to collect from inside the property or carry items long distances, labour charges will apply.


5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a credit account has been agreed.
We accept cash, card, or invoice payments.
Late payments may result in interest charges or paused services.


6. Cancellations & Missed Collections

Cancelling within 24 hours of a booking may result in a cancellation fee.
If a collection cannot be completed due to no access, incorrect info, or unsafe conditions, a call-out fee may apply.


7. Waste Transfer Notes

We issue a legal Waste Transfer Note (WTN) for every collection.
You are responsible for providing accurate details about the waste and site of origin.


8. Liability

We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed hazardous materials, unsafe access, or poorly packed waste.
We recommend photographing areas before and after clearance.


9. Environmental Responsibility

We aim to recycle or reuse as much waste as possible.
Where possible, items may be donated or repurposed through registered reuse facilities or charity partners.


10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
